Are you looking for something to keep your kids busy that also has an educational component? This is a great activity from Mindfulmazing that teaches kindness through a craft. First, kids find medium sized rocks that may be smooth so they can paint on them. They can look for rocks in the neighborhood, in the backyard, or at a park- as long as they're socially distancing! Then, they wash the rocks clean. Now, they're ready to paint! The link below gives ideas of different phrases they can paint on the rocks. When the rocks are all painted, it's time to hide them! The link also gives ideas of where to hide the rocks. Hide them in a tree, in the neighborhood, or wherever you think would spread kindness.

The link also provides a kindness calendar of different activities like this one. Following a kindness calendar reinforces kindness as a core value. Check it out!
